Lady Jane Grey reigned for only 9 days from 10th - 19th July 1553. No coin was ever struck for circulation.
In 1986 a limited number of Lady Jane Grey (fantasy) coins were struck for the film "Lady Jane" featuring Helena Bonham Carter.
I have reproduced this Lady Jane Grey shilling for you - to complete this Tudor Monarch six coin slate coaster set.
This Lady Jane Grey shilling is now widely accepted to resemble the coin had it been struck for circulation.
Lady Jane Grey met her untimely demise on February 12th 1554. She was just 17 years old.***
